Problem: 

After updating Oracle settings for logdb, cannot connect to the Oracle database

When I click "TEST" button on the configuration page, the error below is shown.

Error message:
Unable to connect to database due to generic error: Timer already cancelled.

Answer : 

This is a known issue which was reported in "Bug 1369815:[MC]: Oracle settings require reload of MC and RS. "Timer already cancelled""

Workaround:
Please restart Management Console and Roboserver. Then those become able to connect the Oracle database again.
