If you change the method signature in custom .NET code, you might experience issues in KTA if the method is used in a .NET action or activity

A .NET method signature is made up of:

  • access level (public, private)
  • optional modifiers (abstract, sealed)
  • return value
  • name of the method
  • method input parameters

If you change the signature of a .NET method in KTA, you have to remap the method to any .NET actions or activities using this method.  This will ensure the contract between KTA and the custom .NET method is correct.
