Unable To See Cases From Linked Server In KTA Transfer Activity

Question / Problem: 

When configuring a Transfer Activity in Kofax TotalAgility (KTA) to transfer files from a linked server, the desire is to configure the activity to create a new case job using the transferred files. The 'Process' dropdown list only shows processes, no cases. What needs to be done for cases to appear in the list?

Answer / Solution: 

For cases to appear in the list the option 'Create New Case' needs to be selected in the 'Select the Job Type' dropdown. The default value is 'Create New Job,' which will only display the Processes available. Once the 'Create New Case' option is selected, then there will be options to select by Case Reference or Case ID and the cases will be listed in the 'Process' dropdown list.
