How to add Predefined Rejection notes when documents are rejected during document review or Validation in KTA

Question / Problem: 

When right clicking on a document in a Scan capture control, there is an option to reject a document. This opens a dialog box that allows the user to select from predefined rejection reasons, or create a custom one. I have looked through the KTA administrator's guide and the online help and I have been unable to find a way to set up these predefined rejection reasons

Answer / Solution: 

This can be achieved by creating a Lookup on the data designer (Data Designer is 7.3, 7.4, 7.5 and System Data in 7.6 and 7.7).

Enter How to here:

  1. Log into KTA Designer.
  2. Select Data Designer
  3. Select "Lookup" as shown

4. Create Lookups as shown (For example; "MyTest")

5. Map the Lookup created above to the desired validation or document review form as shown below

6. Click "OK"

7. Re-release the form.

8.  At validation/document review (depending on which form you added the lookup) time (run-time) you should be able to see your rejection reasons as shown below
