How to enable License Server Service Logging

What are the steps for enabling logging for a Kofax TotalAgility (KTA) License Server?

Solution

1. Create the following folder, granting the the KTA service user account full control permissions: (Eg.  C:\KTAdebug)

2. On the machine running the License Server service, navigate to C:\Windows

3. Open WIN.INI in a text editor such as Notepad

4. Add the following section to the WIN.INI file (if it does not already exist)

[KDB]
File=On
filename=C:\KTAdebug\LicenseDebug.log

5. Save the changes

6. Restart the KTA License Server service
