Enable Full Reporting Logging

If the Reporting system task is failing, we can enable additional logging to assist troubleshooting the root cause.  This article describes the steps we need to take in order to enable full logging.


1. Firstly go to the location the Reporting servicve is installed.  In a standard install this will be C:\Program Files\Kofax\TotalAgility\Reporting

2. Open the below 2 files in a text editor

  • Kofax.CEBPM.Reporting.TAService.exe.config
  • Kofax.CEBPM.Reporting.AzureETL.exe.config

3. Locate the below line in both files

<add name="TraceLevelSwitch" value="Warning"/>

4. Change the value Warning to All in both files

5. Save the changes to both files

6. Restart the Kofax TotaalAgility Reporting Service for the logging to take affect


After replicating the error, gather the reporting logs at C:\ProgramData\kofax\TotalAgility\Reporting\Log
