Is it possible to create a Complete Activity button on a Validation form

Issue

Is it possible to create a Complete Activity button on a Validation form?  The users would like a custom button on the form instead of using the OOTB button on the toolbar.

 

Solution

Unfortunately, it is not possible.  There are numerous functions that take place under the hood of the Validation form that are not pubically accessible.
