When conﬁguring the Database Export Connector for KTA, I receive the following error message:
“Could not load ﬁle or assembly ‘ADODB…”
as seen below:
How can I resolve this issue?
The error message points to a missing DLL:
ADODB.DLL. This is usually installed with any Microsoft Oﬃce Product.
For Kofax, this was typically installed by a Capture installation. The KTA Application Server installation does not install this DLL. This will be addressed in a future KTA release.
To work around the issue, please retrieve the
ADODB.DLL ﬁle from a system that actually has it installed. Drop the DLL ﬁle into the
Windows\Assembly folder of the machine missing it, then restart that machine.
