User Account Is Unable To Use Delete Functions In KTA Document Review Activity

Question / Problem: 

After opening a TotalAgility Document Review activity to edit documents, the user is unable to use the Delete function to delete documents. Access Permissions in KTA Designer for the group the user is in for the Delete function is set to 'Yes.' Why is the user unable to use this function?

Answer / Solution: 

Kofax TotalAgility uses the 'least permissions' approach for security reasons. This means that if a user is in multiple groups, the lowest permissions applied to a particular group will be applied to that user account even if higher permissions are applied elsewhere. 

To resolve this, either remove the user from the group with the lower rights, or change the rights for the groups the user is in to the highest permissions required for the user(s).
