Question / Problem: 

How do I change the Log Level in TIS_Log on an eFLOW Client installation?

Answer / Solution: 

The Log Level can be changed on every eFLOW installation and is individual to every machine running eFLOW. To change the Log Level you will need to change the Log Level in file "TISLogger.config", which is located standardly for all Client installation in folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\TIS\eFlow 5\Bin\ConfigSources". You can check where your eFLOW BIN folder is located using the Launch Pro menubar, clicking Tools and "eFLOW BIN". It will open up the correct folder in Windows Explorer for you.

Step-by-step:

  1. Open file "TISLogger.config"
  2. Search for the displayed two entries:LogLevel.png

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Possible Values are:

  • OFF - nothing is logged
  • FATAL
  • ERROR
  • WARN
  • INFO
  • DEBUG - Please use this value only, if requested by Kofax 
  • ALL 

4. If you want to change the amount of logged information into the TIS_Log logfile, you can do so in Event Viewer. Open EventViewer -> Application and Services Log -> TIS_LOG. Go to the properties of the TIS_Log file and change the Log Size as needed.
