Question / Problem:
When processing a Batch on an Ascent Capture workstation, I receive the following error message in Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation and Ascent Xtrata Pro Server:
“Error loading project, because: Invalid file path “c:\project\project.fpr”.
Why is this error occuring?
Answer / Solution:
The above error can occur if the “copy project during publish” option is not set (checked), and the machine attempting to process the Batch does not have access to the project file.
If the “copy project during publish” option is not checked, then every workstation needs to have the project in the same exact path in which it is specified in the synchronization tool.
Example:
In AXP Synchronization tool, the project is mapped to “c:\project\project.fpr”.
Then, every workstation needs to have “c:\project\project.fpr”.
If the “copy project during publish” option is checked, then the project files are copied to the Ascent share, \\<serverpath>\AscentSV\MailroomDB\, and the project files do not need to exist locally on the workstation.
