When SSO is enabled for KTM thin client; the following error is generated at the login page:

Question / Problem:

When SSO is enabled for KTM thin client, the following error is generated at the login page:

Invalid user ID or password. Please try again"

Answer / Solution:

To troubleshoot the problem please apply the following steps for Capture:

  1. Stop all Capture modules and services.
  2. Add a system environmental variable with Name\Value= KCDisableUserPrinciple\True (this file should be found in the captureSV share logs)
  3. Restart IIS by command line: iisreset
  4. Re-check SSO for KTM Thin Client

If issue persists, please enable log SSO for investigation:

  1. Stop all Capture modules and services.
  2. Add a environmental variable with Name/Value= KCUserProfileLoggingEnabled/True
  3. Restart IIS.
  4. Launch KTM Thin Client.
  5. Collect the log file KCUserProfile.txt in the log folder and send it over.
