Debug Logging for KTM Validation on Client Workstations

Issue

We have setup KTM debug logging on the KTM server -  by going to "KTM - Service Configuration" and setting the - Log level for Validation - to "Debug" and restarted the Server Scheduler Service and log files are created on the Server. 

But on client workstations in location C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Capture\Local\Logs\ are empty. 

 

Solution

On the Client Workstation.

1. Log into the Registry. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Kofax\Transformation\4.0\Logging

2. Add the module as new string, e.g. "Validation"

3. Set it to "Debug"

This should now repopulate the KTM debug logs on the client after restarting the services.
