How can I manually register the Kofax Transformation Modules with Kofax Capture?

Solution

If an installation issue or other situation arises where the KTM modules are not registered and need to be registered manually, the AEX files from the installation source will be needed.

The location of the AEX files on the disc/ISO depends on the version:

• KTM 3.1: XtrataPro\AscentFolder
• KTM 3.5: KTM\AscentFolder
• KTM 4.0: KTM\Program Files\CaptureBin
• KTM 4.5: Kofax Transformation Modules\Program Files\CaptureBin
• KTM 5.0: Kofax Transformation Modules\Program Files\CaptureBin

The AEX files can be used by opening the Kofax Capture Administration module, then clicking Tools ¦ Custom Module Manager..., then clicking Add.
