After a KTM 6.1 Fix Pack 7 installation, the following error message is displayed when trying to authenticate in Thin Client:

Allocated custom module process generated unexpected error. How can I resolve this issue?

Answer / Solution:

The issue can occur if Fix Pack 7 was not installed properly.

To correct it, uninstall Fix Pack 7 and then stop all Kofax/KTM services, as well as IIS. Then, install the fix pack again and restart ALL services.
