Are specific licenses required to make use of the Kofax Transformation Modules Thin Client Server?

Solution

KTM TCS only requires the "KTM Web Server" license. This is a system level license and only one is required.

No other licenses are required other than those already required for the project when running under the thick client Transformation Modules.

It should be noted that the use of KTM TCS requires a dedicated IIS (Internet Information Services) administrator. The user's IT team should be able to effectively manage and configure Web Services and IIS.

Managing IIS and Web Services goes beyond the scope of Kofax Technical Support.

KTM TCS modules, such as Thin Client Validation, have limited functionality when compared to the standard KTM Validation module.
