Issue

How can I resolve an issue where the following error occurs when logging into Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) Thin Client Validation?

Connection to the server is broken.

Solution

  • Suggestion 1
    Turn off UAC, and add the IUSR, IIS_WPG and Network Service accounts to the CaptureSV share with FULL CONTROL permissions. Restart IIS and test.

 

  • Suggestion 2
    Trying installing ASP.NET using the "Run as administrator" option for the command line. Restart IIS and test.

 

  • Suggestion 3
    Check the web.config file. If it is 1 KB, it may be malformed or incorrect. If there is a backup of it, restore it. Restart IIS and test.
