KTM Thin Client prompts license error 9006

Issue

KTM Thin Client prompts license error 9006 SALicSrv An Enterprise license is required to run application within a terminal session

There was no Citrix and Terminal Services

Cause

Insufficient permission privilege

Solution

First of all, check if customer has Kofax Capture Enterprise license. This can be seen in Kofax Capture License Utility.

In one case, customer disable KC user profile and this resolves.

In another case, customer added the admin user on both the IIS Site and Application pool and the Kofax Capture Service.
