KTM TCS WebConfig XML for SSO and SSL

Question / Problem:

I am setting up Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) Thin Client Validation. I am not able to use Ports 80 or 443 (for HTTP and SSL), so I have specified Port 444. I am able to get to the welcome screen for KTM Thin Client Validation, but I am unable to log in, receiving the error message: "Connection to the server is broken".
How can I resolve this issue?

Answer / Solution:

The web.config XML file needs to edited:

BEFORE

 <!-- Binding of KTS Services -->
      <webHttpBinding>
        <binding name="Kofax.KTS.Services.BindingConfiguration" maxReceivedMessageSize="500000"
            maxBufferSize="500000" receiveTimeout="infinite">
          <!-- SSO only
          <security mode="TransportCredentialOnly">
            <transport clientCredentialType = "Windows" />
          </security>
          -->
          <!-- SSL only
          <security mode="Transport">
          </security>
          -->
          <!-- SSL + SSO
          <security mode="Transport">
            <transport clientCredentialType = "Windows" />
          </security>
          -->
        </binding>
      </webHttpBinding>
AFTER
      <webHttpBinding>
        <binding name="Kofax.KTS.Services.BindingConfiguration" maxReceivedMessageSize="500000"
            maxBufferSize="500000" receiveTimeout="infinite">
          <!-- SSO only
          <security mode="TransportCredentialOnly">
            <transport clientCredentialType = "Windows" />
          </security>
          -->
          <!-- SSL only -->
          <security mode="Transport">
          </security>

          <!-- SSL + SSO

          </security>
          -->
        </binding>
