Convert Kofax 3.2 jobs to 3.3 jobs
Issue
Can we easily import / "Convert", Kofax Express 3.2 jobs to Kofax Express 3.3?
Solution
Basically the old / existing Jobs generated with KXP 3.2 are automatically re-imported / kept during upgrade to KXP3.3, however it is still advised to keep a manual backup of Jobs & batches.
The old Jobs can be taken from "C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Kofax Express 3.2\Jobs"
Batches from > C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Kofax Express 3.2\Batches
And profiles > C:\ProgramData\Kofax\Kofax Express 3.2\Scanners\Profiles
In some cases, you may have to adjust the JobsBatches Path element and point it to the %CommonApplicationData%\Kofax\Kofax Express 3.3\Batches.
Note that jobs configured with the SharePoint 2007 Export Connector will need to be reconfigured with SharePoint 8.x Export Connector .
