Does Kofax VRS, Kofax Capture, Kofax Express, Kofax Front Office Server, or Kofax Import Connector support the import or processing of 32-bit color images?
Answer / Solution:
No. Kofax products that use Kofax VRS / ImageControls for image processing only support 1-bit bitonal, 8-bit grayscale, and 24-bit color images.
However, functionality was added to Kofax VRS 5.1.1 and higher that automatically converts 32-bit color TIFF images to 24-bit color TIFF images, allowing them to be imported, processed, and output as 24-bit color TIFF images.
