License code is invalid error 9152 when activating valid license

Question / Problem:

Attempts to activate a Kofax Express license using the correct serial number, product code, part number, and license code result in the following error message:

9152 License code is invalid

Answer / Solution:

The error can occur if a license code from a previous activation is entered into the License Code field. License codes are automatically generated at activation-time and are specific to that license activation. They cannot be re-used for subsequent activations.

To resolve this issue, enter the necessary data into the User Identification and Product Identification fields, leaving the License Code field blank, and click Activate. Upon successful activation, the License Code field will be automatically populated with a new license code.
