When attempting to activate a software-based Kofax Express license, the following error message is produced:
9150 - Unable to contact license server. The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL / TLS secure channel.
Answer / Solution:
This error is often produced due to the security certification on the PC either not being installed, or not being installed correctly.
The recommended workaround is to use the Kofax Express Activation License Code Web page.
As this error often indicates that the security certificate is encountering a problem, it might be necessary to use the Kofax Express Activation License Code Web page on another PC.
