Unable to communicate with Server error in Kofax Express 3.1 Client

Question / Problem:

After installing a Kofax Express 3.1 client, the following error occurs:

Unable to communicate with the server contact your system administrator to resolve this problem

Answer / Solution:

When performing an installation of a Kofax Express Client, UAC (User Account Control) should be disabled. This is a requirement, and can be referenced in the Kofax Express 3.1.0 Installation Guide.
