Bar Code Filter Prevents Bar Codes from Being Read

Issue

Entering a valid Bar Code Filter string into the Kofax Express 3.3 Bar Code Filter field prevents all bar codes from being successfully read.

Cause

A bug in the validation of the Bar Code Filter string.  This bug has been documented in TFS 1705565

Solution

This issue will be fixed in Fix Pack 1 for Kofax Express 3.3, which is currently scheduled to be released at the end of December, 2021
