Blurry User Interface in Windows 10


Question / Problem: 

The Kofax Express User Interface appears blurry in Windows 10

Answer / Solution: 

In Windows10:

Turn on feature named "Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry", into Display> Advanced scaling settings >"Scale and layout".

If no luck, you can try changing the app’s high DPI settings through the Properties window to solve the problem. Here’s what you need to do:

1- Type the name of the app in the Windows search box.

2- Right-click the search result, then select Open file location.

3- Right-click KXP app, then select Properties.

4- Click the Compatibility tab.

5- Click the Change high DPI settings button

6- Select the Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program… check box.

7- In the High DPI scaling override area, select the Override high DPI scaling behavior check box. And make sure  Application is selected from the drop-down menu, which option was called Disable display scaling on high DPI settings in previous versions of Windows.

8- Click OK

9- Close and then reopen the app to check for the issue.
