Cannot open file Error 20143 after first page scanned when testing the VRS scan source

Question / Problem:

When testing the VRS scan source, I am able to connect to the scanner, but see the following error message after the first page is scanned:

20143 – Cannot open file

Answer / Solution:

This error can be caused by restricted access to the destination folder for the scanned images.

Verify the specified file name and path that the application is scanning to, and that the user account has Write access to this location.

The user account should be able to scan to the Desktop folder or any destination the user account has write access to.
