While scanning using Kofax VRS Elite 5.x the following error message is generated:

Scanner Stop Key UMBRELLA.

Answer / Solution:

This behavior can occur when the CPU and/or Memory resources of the PC are reaching the maximum limits.

Increasing the CPU power and RAM resolves this issue.
