What are the minimum hardware requirements to install Kofax VRS 5.2?
Solution
Per the Kofax VRS 5.2 Installation Guide (page 7) the hardware requirements are:
- Minimum 1 GHz or faster:
- 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) AMD / Intel processor
- Minimum 2 GB RAM20 GB of available disk space

Most Kofax VRS image processing takes place in memory. In certain circumstances VRS may create temporary image files during processing and these temporary files are deleted when processing is completed.
These temporary files were taken into consideration when determining the hardware requirements.
