Specified License Information is Invalid Error Activating VRS Elite License

Issue

Attempts to activate a Kofax VRS Elite license result in the following error:

The specified license information is invalid.

Cause

The error will occur when one or more of the license information fields contain invalid information. The three license information fields, Part Number, Serial Number, and Product Code must contain information from one license.

Solution

To resolve this issue, correct any information in the three fields that was entered incorrectly.

The part number will not contain the letter "O", but can contain the number zero "0"

A common error is confusing the letter "S" with the number "5" in the Product Code
